Independent Fund Analysis
This is a list of what I consider to be the best, most consistent funds and fund managers in each category, based upon extensive analysis of a universe of thousands of available funds and investment trusts. These funds have been selected based on their consistently above average returns over a long time period whilst taking into account the track record of the fund manager and the volatility of the fund.
The list contains predominantly active funds that I believe, over the long term, will outperform the majority of their peers as well as their benchmarks. In the US where there are few good active funds, a low cost passive fund has been included. I have not identified any consistently good emerging market funds or fund managers, so there is currently no 'Emerging Markets' category.
